Jason Leffler killed in sprint car crash

Jason Leffler, the Nascar champion, was killed in a sprint car crash at Bridgeport Speedway on Wednesday night. The driver, who had the nickname "LefTurn" above the driver's side window of his race cars, was in second place when his car crashed. According to witnesses, he hit the wall twice and "flopped all over". Leffler had to be extracted from the wreck and was airlifted to Crozer-Chester Medical Center. He succumbed to his injuries not long after.
