Because my Baby don't Mean "Maybe" Now New York All Stars 1993

"Because my Baby don't Mean "Maybe" Now" was a tune recorded by the Paul Whiteman Orchestra in June 1928. It is one of these tunes that survived because Whiteman had some famous musicians in the band. Frankie Trumbauer on melody C sax, Min Leibrook on bas sax, but especially Bix Beiderbecke on cornet.
Here, some 65 years later are a group of the best jazz musicians in the USA in that style, who call themselves the New York All Stars. They wrote their own arrangement of this tune and perform at the 1993 Bern Jazz Festival. Among these fabulous musicians are Randy Sandke trumpet, Ken Peplowski clarinet, Dan Barrett trombone, Mark Shane piano and Marty Gross guitar who also found the lyrics of the tune initially sang by Bing Crosby in the Whiteman recording.
