Madrid, 17 Jan (EFE).- Spanish judge Baltasar Garzón, famous for indicting Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet, was in the dock on Tuesday after being accused of knowingly overstepping his bounds when ordering wiretaps in a corruption case linked to the ruling Peoples Party government in Valencia. Garzón's supporters claim his enemies are targeting him because he tried to investigate crimes during the Franco regime.
