MEDIAWATCH - French students take to streets over deportation of foreign pupils

French lycée students are saying "Non!" to the deportation of a 16-year-old Roma schoolgirl to Kosovo. The girl, named Leonarda, has become a symbol for those opposing tough deportation measures, in particular for the Roma population in France. On social media, the hashtag #Blocus or "Blockade" is trending as secondary school students organise their protests and shut off access to their schools.
