Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, Erika Flowers always possessed a passion for music. She began singing gospel at her church from a young age, and went on to study at the internationally renowned Fiorello H. Laguardia High School of Music & Art and the Performing Arts.
Erika Flowers is a recent graduate of Loyola University New Orleans where she studied vocal performance and music industry. A versatile and classically trained vocalist, Erika has performed in productions like The New Orleans Opera Associations' "Romeo et Juliette" and "Porgy and Bess". However, she prefers to focus on R&B/Soul. She is also a seasoned songwriter.
In September of 2010 Erika formed a band and began her journey in New Orleans. Erika penned a majority of the songs her band performs. Her music is a fusion of Jazz, R&B, and Soul. Erika Flowers and The Foundation perform regularly around the New Orleans area. The sultry songstress values her voice as a gift, and looks forward to sharing it with the world.
