HIV-positive Catholic priest arrested for masturbating in public park

If the Catholic Church was nearly out of ways to discredit itself, along comes Rev. James McGonegal to the rescue. McGonegal is priest St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church on Cleveland's west side, and last Friday he tried to pay a guy in a park $50 to jerk him off. Also, he's HIV-positive. Praise Jesus.
The police report says priest McGonegal was in his car at Edgewater Park when he made eye contact with an off-duty ranger.
The ranger knew what was up, but played along. He looked over and saw the 68-year-old man waving back at him.
They began talking. McGonegal explained that he was quote, "cruising."
He asked the man get into his SUV, saying he knew of people arrested by rangers in the park.
He then offered the ranger 50 bucks for sexual relief, before taking out his penis and doing something to make make jesus cry. Police later found several cock rings and a bottle of sniffable amyl nitrate, which the holy man said gives him a buzz.
He faces charges for soliciting sex while HIV-positive and for public indecency. So much for his vows of celibacy.
