The event will honor the top songs and artists that were viewed on the website in the past year.
Lady Gaga, rapper Eminem and Arcade Fire will be headline performers for the live-streamed event, which will take place in New York on November 3.
Nominees will be announced later this month and winners will be voted on by the public.
