Congress MP Rasheed Masood will be sentenced by a special CBI court today (October 1) after he was convicted in a medical admission scam. In the first conviction after the Supreme Court struck down a law that provided immunity to MPs and MLAs from immediate disqualification, Masood who was found guilty in a case of corruption, is set to lose his Rajya Sabha seat.
