Charlie Hunnam, Dakota Johnson cast in lead roles for Fifty Shades of Grey movie. Hunnam, 33, is an actor who hails from the UK and is known for his work in the film Pacific Rim and the FX television drama series Sons of Anarchy. He will take on the character of Christian Grey. Johnson, 23, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and former Miami Vice star Don Johnson, will step into the role of Anastasia Steele.

Fifty Shades of Grey, written by British author E.L. James, is the first installment of an erotic romance trilogy that follows how a young business tycoon, Christian Grey, seduces an innocent college graduate, Anastasia Steele. The book is known for its explicit scenes featuring sexual bondage and discipline.

Since the book gained worldwide popularity, there has been much speculation over whether a film version would be made, and who would take the lead roles. Sam Taylor-Johnson will direct the movie based on a screenplay by Kelly Marcel. Taylor-Johnson is known for directing the film Nowhere Boy, a movie about the early years of John Lennon's life.
