Rani mukherji was born on 21 march 1978 to Bengali Brahmin parents . her father is a former director and mother is playback singer .mukherji did schooling from manekji cooper high school in juhu Mumbai . later enrolled at mithibai college . in starting she appeared for first time in her father Bengali film biyer phool in 1992 .rani made her acting debut from film raja ki aayegi baraat then she tasted success from film ghulam opposite of aamir khan and she was given a tittle as khandala girl as her song aati kya khandala became success .then her film kuchh kuchh hota hai alongwith kajol and SRK was a massive hit.all films that she starred in 2004 was a huge hit at box office .
