shilpa shetty was born on 8 june 1975 mangalore .she did schooling from st.anthony girls high school later attended podar college in matunga ,Mumbai.she is a trained bharatnatyam dancer as well as she was a captain of the volleyball team in schools .she even have a black belt in karate.at the rip age of 16 she began her career by doing modeling for limca in 1991 and then did a debut film baazigar opposite of SRK and kajol.teh film was a huge hit and her acting was also appreciated.then she appeared in a lead role in film aag but was an average at boxoffice.
