STORY: On the final day of Milan Fashion Week, Italian label Gianfranco Ferre unveiled their look for next season's spring and summer. The designers, Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron, presented a collection that gave off a vibe of understated elegance, with models walking down the runway in plain coloured garments. But in order to give the garments a twist, they were combined with ornately decorated Baroque inspired shoes. Voluminous garments were pinched in at the waist with maxi obi belts. Underwear as outerwear also featured in the collection, which was also a theme on the catwalks of designers Dolce & Gabbana, and DSquared2. Some of the clothes exposed backs, necks and thighs, with slits in skirts and dresses. Gianfranco Ferre also accessorized outfits with metallic bags and large wrist cuffs.
