Rahul Gandhi in Baran (Rajasthan) stresses for people’s participation in decision making

Baran: Congress vice-resident Rahul Gandhi addressed a massive Congress rally in poll bound Rajasthan on Tuesday. Speaking at Krishi Upaj Mandi ground in Baran Rahul Gandhi slammed opposition for blocking several pro-poor initiatives of the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre. “Normally all policy decisions are being taken either from Delhi or from Jaipur. We want this to be changed. We want people’s participation in decision making. That is why we had implemented Panchayati Raj system to empower the rural poor. We want you must be the masters of your own future and you must take this country forward; only you can do it. We are here to support you” said Rahul Gandhi.
