LUMO - turn your child's floor into an interactive surface
  • 11 years ago
Have you ever wanted a holodeck for your room? Would you love to turn your floor into a realistic fishpond that ripples when you walk on it, or a field of flowers that bloom when you step on them? Maybe you'd love a soccer field so you can kick a ball around with your friends or a herd of little animals that follow you around.

A small company in Winnipeg called Po-motion has created a cool new toy called LUMO that does this and much more. They are now hoping to raise funds through Kickstarter to commercialize their prototype and bring it to homes everywhere.

LUMO will even give kids the tools they need to make their own games and effects, so they can turn their rooms into magical new interactive worlds.
