Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have called off their engagement ending months of speculation that their relationship was on the rocks.
The duo were together for four years. Reps for both confirmed the break-up, but did not give any reason for the separation.
Over the weekend, Cyrus stopped following Hemsworth on social networking site Twitter, which fueled break-up reports in the media.
They first met in 2009 on the set of the film "The Last Song," where the two played lovers.
The couple had announced their engagement in June last year.
