If you've been paying close attention to the pics coming from the set of the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Solider, you probably have been very curious about what's going on between Captain America and Black Widow! If Captain America and Black Widow had Facebook accounts the relationship status would likely say "its complicated" but what is really going on between Captain America and Black Widow? Is this romance one that we should have seen coming? While promoting her new film, Don Jon, Scarlett Johansson spoke to Super Hero Hype about the upcoming relationship between these two Avengers. She said quote "The pairing is strange on paper, but you'll understand the pairing when you see Cap 2 and of course Marvel's really good at noticing those connections [between characters] too! They will continue to build on the different relationships that audiences connect to." And, if you go back and watch The Avengers more closely, you will notice subtle things that hint that there might be something brewing between these two. Maybe it was a glance here and there, or maybe it was their fighting chemistry when they were battling together in New York City, but looking back it definitely seems like there was something going on. Johansson said that all of the character's interactions and connections in the Avengers have laid the groundwork for future relationships.
So, it will be interesting to see what happens between Black Widow and Cap in the upcoming Winter Solider. But, what do you all think about this pairing?
