SIT on Thursday (September 5) informed the Kerala High Court that complainant M Sreedharan Nair has given statement saying Kerala Chief Minsiter Oommen Chandy has no link in solar scam. The high court has also given clean chit to former security official Salim Raj and one of the CM's assistant. SIT was formed after the outcry over the alleged irregularities in the solar scam. The Kerala CM had announced the formation of a judicial commission in the case but that has not yet been constituted. SIT is headed by the ADGP of Kerala, A Hemachandran.
