Thai police destroy tonnes of counterfeit merchandise

Authorities in Thailand have destroyed around 1.6 million items of counterfeit merchandise.

Articles such as clothes, watches, bags, shoes and car parts were up for destruction.

The merchandise was discovered as part of a campaign against intellectual property crime launched by the Royal Thai Police.
