Story Line: Bhaskar (ANR) and Vasanthi (B.Saroja Devi) are class mates. Both love each other but when Vasanthi comes to know that her sister Geeta (Krishnakumari) is also in love with Bhaskar, she sacrifices her love and makes Bhasker and Geeta get married. But Geeta gets jealous by Vasanthi’s proximity with her hubby that prompts Vasanthi to leave their house. Few months later, Geeta dies of illness after giving birth to a male child. Unaware of these incidents, Vasanthi gets married to Venu(Jagayya). On the day of wedding, Bhaskar sends his son to Vasanthi as a wedding gift.
