Ronaldo shrugs off Mourinho's comments

Los Angeles (U.S.A.), Aug 5 (EFE).- Cristiano Ronaldo spoke after a Real Madrid training session in UCLA's facilities and assured that he had not yet renewed his contract with the club. He also spoke about a series of comments made by Jose Mourinho in an interview with ESPN in which he looked back on his career claiming that, during his time in Barcelona, he had worked with the "real Ronaldo, not this one (in reference to Cristiano)". Cristiano answered Mourinho's remarks stating that "I do not spit on the plate from which I eat". He clarified the comment's meaning, claiming that he only takes positive experiences away from his relationships with people.

When asked about his contract renewal with the club, Ronaldo said that an agreement had not yet been reached and that it was not the right time to talk about the situation.

He also had kind words for Ancelotti, with whom, he claimed, the team was happy and working well.
