On the one end, UK talks of improving ties with India and on the other it goes on to implement its discriminatory visa policy. Britain plans to introduce a controversial scheme of demanding a whopping 3,000 pounds visa bond from visitors from six "high-risk" countries, including India. The Conservative-led government has been keen to cut immigration figures into the country and crack down on visa over-stayers. The pilot scheme is expected to run for a year from this November before being extended to all visa types. The proposed plan, which classifies India as a"high-risk" country despite the so-called "special relationship" and "strategic partnership" between India andthe UK propagated by British Prime Minister David Cameron, had triggered widespread outrage among ministerial circles in Delhi. Meetings between British and Indian officials have been taking place to address Indian concerns on the scheme, which was described as "an affront" by commerce and industry minister Anand Sharma last month.

Pakistan is secretly focussing on a special case cell to focus on Kashmir. And on the outside are proposing a dialogue with India. The question is - can India trust Islamabad?
