China bans NZ dairy over botulism scare

China has banned all imports of milk powder from New Zealand over fears of botulism. The dairy co-operative Fonterra recently revealed that it had sold batches of product containing botulism-causing bacteria to five different countries, including China. The dangerous form of food poisoning can lead to paralysis and even death. Other countries such as Russia are following China's lead and stopping New Zealand milk imports. Al Jazeera's Gerald Tan reports.
