As the growing number of attacks on Assam has raised alarm over the law and order situation in the state, a top police official has made a startling claim. Assam's DGP J.N. Choudhary has said that the terror outfit ULFA is backed by Pakistan. Choudhary also said that anti-social elements are applying pressure on the ULFA to carry out more attacks. With 3 alarms in the last week, the state has upped its security apparatus. But with this disclosure, tensions are only mounting in the state.
