Kate's hometown celebrates royal baby birth

Local residents in the sleepy parish of Bucklebury in Berkshire, southern England, where Prince William's wife Kate grew up celebrated the birth of the new prince on Monday (July 22).
Champagne corks were popped at the local pub The Old Boot where local residents had gathered to watch news of the birth.
Catherine, more popularly known as Kate, gave birth to a boy on Monday, the couple's first child and the third in line to the British throne, heralding celebrations in London and messages of goodwill from across the world.
"It didn't matter to me whether it was a boy or a girl, I just think it is great. I really do," said one local resident.
Pub landlord John Haley, who had received a coveted invitation to the royal wedding, said he looked forward to the new prince visiting Bucklebury.
