Aamir khan, the Mr. Perfectionist was born on March 14 1965 in Holy Family Hospital at Bandra to a Muslim family which has been the part of the Indian motion picture industry for a long time.
Aamir first came on screen as a child artist in Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), it was not a real part just a blink. Khan's first notable leading role came in 1988 in the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. This film was a breakthrough commercial success, effectively launching Khan's career as a leading actor.
Aamir Khan is one of the few method actors in Bollywood, who has taken acting to a whole new level. An actor, director, producer, playback singer, a state tennis champion, and mentor to his nephew (Imran Khan). He never works for more than one film at a time and it's quite opposite of what other Bollywood actors do. He turned down the offer made by Madame Tussaud to make a wax statue of him. His biggest achievement is the love and respect that he has got from people.
Sometime before his debut film Aamir fell in love with a girl in his neighborhood Reena Dutta. Since she belonged to a Hindu family and Aamir was from devout Muslim family, they faced opposition and therefore they married secretly, later the marriage story hit the headlines when it was revealed that they both have decided to separate, because of "temperamental differences". After the divorce Reena Dutta took the custody of children by ending the 15-year marriage. Then khan met Kiran Rao during the shooting of Lagaan, who was an assistant to the director of the film. Aamir khan fell in love for one more time with Kiran Rao, Under the Special Marriage Act, and their marriage was registered at Bandra Registration office on December 28, 2005.
