Thousands of Mursi supporters demonstrate as Egypt cabinet begins work

STORY: Thousands of supporters of deposed Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi demonstrated outside the prime minister's office on Wednesday to protest against the formation of a new interim cabinet.
Protesters held up Korans and portraits of Mursi in the blistering noon heat outside the main government buildings in the center of Cairo, demanding Mursi be restored to power.
The army removed Mursi from power on July 3 in the wake of mass protests against his rule.
The vast crowd of Mursi supporters marched through the center of town and along the Nile cornice, but they were held back by riot police as they marched in the direction of Tahrir square, the main focal point for anti-Mursi youth protests.
