Sikkim celebrates Bhanu Jayanti amid protests

The 199th birth anniversary of Nepali poet Adikavi Bhanubhakta Acharya has been celebrated across Sikkim. State Chief Minister Pawan Chamling offered floral tribute to the legend poet in a ceremony held at Bhanu Park in Gangtok. Attendees including political leaders, littérateurs and students were present in the occasion.
