DAVID SKINNER - UNDERSTAND

David Skinner is an 19 year old singer, songwriter and composer from Mallow. He began playing at 8 and went on to record his first songs at 14 and his first album at 16.
David's talents have brought him to the attention of guitar greats such as Joe Satriani and Tommy Emmanuel, both of whom sent backstage invites during their last visit to Ireland, and by the age of 16 had already added television performances to his resume. In print, reporters have declared that "David's dexterity with a guitar left me green with envy" and "the guitar is nothing short of an extension".
In june 2013 David went into the studio to begin recording his first non instrumental album featuring such songs as 'Never Fall' and 'Understand' He is currently teaching music and in september 2013 will start one of his new projects, a Blues workshop explaining how the blues works and how it has been so influential to modern music.
