Country music star Randy Travis has reportedly undergone a surgery to help correct a viral infection that landed him in a Texas hospital. A member of his family told media that the singer had surgery, but remains in critical condition. Travis is suffering from a viral heart infection, which weakens and enlarges the heart.
Elton John is suffering from appendicitis. A statement on the singer's website said that he is currently undergoing a course of intensive antibiotics and is expected to undergo surgery in the coming weeks. The illness has forced John to postpone his summer European tour - he was due to perform in London's Hyde Park on Friday (July 12).
Amanda Bynes appeared in court on Tuesday (July 9) to face allegations of possessing marijuana and tossing a bong out of the window of her Manhattan apartment. The actress arrived at court dressed in sweatpants and long green wig. A judge postponed her hearing and Bynes was ordered to return to court on September 26th.
