Pro-Mursi demonstrators - tired but steadfast.
This man says Wednesday's ousting of Egypt's first democratically elected president, Mohamed Mursi, was nothing but a military coup.
And U.S. Senator John McCain agrees.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. SENATOR JOHN MCCAIN, SAYING:
"We have to suspend aid to the Egyptian military because the Egyptian military has overturned the vote of the people of Egypt.''
But Egypt's Ambassador to the U.S., Mohamed Tawfik, said that, with millions taking to the streets, army intervention was the best option available.

"President Mursi and his supporters, what they did is they mobilised, they stirred people's feelings up and basically they encouraged their supporters to face the other demonstrators, so there was no option for the military and for the rest of Egyptian society but to intervene."
