Hundreds of supporters of ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi take to the streets in Kabul Friday chanting his name.
The protests come as thousands of Mursi supporters demonstrate across Egypt. They are angry at what they describe as a military coup that toppled Egypt's first elected leader, a year after he took office.

"The reason for our demonstration is to show our support for the legal government of Egypt led by Mohamed Mursi and oppose the military coup."
The demonstrations come as Afghanistan still faces its own challenges says NATO Brigadier General Heinz Feldmann in Kabul who was made available to Reuters by the Pentagon.
