Desolation of Smaug not going to Comic Con

Sad news for J. R. R. Tolkien fans hoping for a glimpse of 'The Hobbit' at this year's Comic Con. Talking on his latest production blog Peter Jackson announced that the second Hobbit film, 'The Desolation of Smaug' won't be part of Warner Bros.' presentation at this year's San Diego entertainment extravaganza.
