The popular "Terminator" film franchise will be back. Paramount Pictures plans to resurrect a new, stand-alone trilogy, with the first installment slated to open in theaters in June 2015. The "Terminator" franchise about an assassin cyborg portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger has grossed more than $1 billion over three films since it debuted in 1984. At an event in Australia earlier this month, Schwarzenegger told the audience that the studio wants him to be in Terminator 5 and to take on the title role.

Scottish actor Ewan McGregor was honored with an OBE for his services to drama and charity on Friday (June 28). The "Star Wars" and "Trainspotting" star was awarded the medal by Prince Charles. The 42 year old McGregor has been an ambassador for the children's charity Unicef since 2004, and has visited a number of its projects around the world. McGregor has also been nominated twice for a Golden Globe, most recently this year for "Salmon Fishing in the Yemen."
