A political blamegame has broken out in Punjab over the assault on a senior IAS officer. Congress is alleging that Punjab's Education Minister instigated the attack to settle scores with the bureaucra. The Akalis have hit back challenging the Congress to give evidence before the SIT which is probing the assault case.
