Plymouth is a city better associated with boats than coaches, a port with a wonderful maritime history, having witnessed the departure of the Pilgrims for America and having hosted the most famous bowls game in history with the Spanish Armada waiting nearby, as well as feeling the wrath of the Luftwaffe as a major Naval base.
