The body of actor James Gandolfini has arrived back in the U.S.

Gandolfini, best known for his leading role in the Emmy-winning series "The Sopranos", died after collapsing in his Rome hotel room.

The actor's body was flown into New Jersey on a private flight.

Gandolfini was on holiday in Italy with his 13-year-old son and was due to attend the closing of a film festival in Sicily.

An autopsy showed he had died of natural causes.

A funeral is planned for June 27th in New York.
