GROUNDSWIMMER
Just mix some Alternative-Rock and the melancholy of Singer/Songwriter tunes together and you´ll be addicted to the melodies and dynamic. After poured some anger and love, there are just two incredients left for the musical dish of GROUNDSWIMMER!
Two charming and talented musicians from Munich, calling themselves a "live band" and that´s exactly what you will get!
The band´s shows can be loud and powerful but also calm and acoustic. Most of the time, you´ll see the band as a duo, but from time to time there are several guest musicians with them, everything´s possible!
Since 2008 Oliver Di Iorio, a singer and guitar player from Munich, writes music under the flag of GROUNDSWIMMER. Before that, he was playing in several Rock- and Bluesbands and was session guitarist for some Singer/Songwriter-Projects.
In September 2010 the drummer Johannes Maximilian Müller completed the band. Until then, he was playing in some Funk- and Rockbands either.
Together both of them becoming one person on stage or in the studio. Smart arrangements on the guitar come together with high leveled drums and high energetic performances!
In January 2010 the first album "Save My Soul" has been released, followed by the second one "The Greatest Tragedy Is Life" in December 2011.
