Katy Perry reveals intimate details about her marriage to Russell Brand and her relationship with John Mayer, in a new Vogue cover story - her first for the fashion magazine.
In the interview, she said Brand was "a magical man," but that her perception of him changed during their 14-month marriage. Perry told Vogue that Brand had issues with them being "equals."
She said the last communication she had from Brand was a text message on December 31, 2011, telling her that he was filing for divorce.
Following her split, Perry went on to date Mayer, whom she described as having a "beautiful mind" and "tortured soul." They broke up in late spring.
