Rolling on through a packed calendar of festivals -- Woodford, Redlands, Mt Beauty, The Gold Coast Music Festival, Dorrigo, Yakkandanda and the prestigious Gympie Music Muster - Mustered Courage continued to deliver a new breed of bluegrass; blending traditional elements of the style with a soulful and alternative twist, all sprinkled with a rock 'n' roll mentality, right up until 2013.
Virtuosic lead singer, Nick Keeling's one of a kind voice gives Mustered Courage its unique sound - the sheer power of his voice captures the attention of the crowd and when he gets to those tender moments in a song, he nails the audience to their seats. And with three part harmonies littered throughout each track the music harks back to yesteryear yet stays squarely in the now. High energy bluegrass and song writing at its finest.
