FEMEN activists staged a topless prayer to Allah for the early release of FEMEN activists in Tunisia, led by Egyptian blogger Aliaa Elmahdy on Wednesday in front of the Tunisian embassy in Paris. Activists praying on the street have blocked the traffic at Rue Barbet de Jouy. During the prayer women were shouting "Amina Akbar", "Pauline Akbar", "Marguerite Akbar", "Josephine Akbar" and "FEMEN women's spring goes".

Inna Shevchenko, stressed that "we are supporting our activists, we are waiting for them but we are also denouncing that it's only the beginning we did the first stop in muslim countries but there will be a second one too".

Three other FEMEN members held a protest in defence of Tyler on May 29 in front of the court in the Tunisian capital Tunis, a day before Tyler's trial started. It was first such action of the feminist movement in the Arab country. Three activists of FEMEN, two French and a German, protested against the 19-year-old Amina Tylers' detention in prison following her arrest in May.

The FEMEN protest was met with outrage by the dominantly Muslim Tunisian population. The women were quickly stopped by local police, who brought them inside the court house. A spokesman for the Tunisian Ministry of Justice announced that women "can not avoid the process" and "it is against our religion". The women who got arrested will be brought to court for a trial on June 5. They are accused of insulting public morality and indecency and they might face prison.
