Stefan Galler is an earth-based singer-songwriter who one day decided to embark on a solo adventure - mostly with his guitar & piano but once in a while accompanied by brass and strings - while still earning proper stage experiences with different music projects (the Void, piano & synthetic drums for Lasko, piano & acoustic drums for Florian Horwath). As he began to strum a bunch of typically adolescent songs in his childhood bedroom, he went on to describe the pictures in his mind through melodies and harmonies. His texts are at once simple and puzzling; his voice is particular but easy on the ear. When he's not busy writing songs, he runs the record label OFFICE REC., scribbles poetry, makes movies and produces coins.
Stefan's debut album, War & Peace, is a collection of songs which shaped the beginning of his career and the process of several years' work, spent between the Casino Baumgarten where it was recorded and people's houses, corridors, gardens. The album will be officially presented at b72 on June 6th, 2013.
