Zee TV is all set to bring a fresh tale based on the life and teachings of Gautam Buddha and the launch was held on saturday evening. Actor Kabir Bedi, has been signed to play a vital character in the historical saga. It is a mega project by Dr. BK Modi who is also a close of the actor. Bedi himself is a keen follower of Buddhism and his mother was a Buddhist nun for around 15 years in Tibet. Here’s hoping that connection works well for the show which was actually initially planned as full fledged movie and is now being worked at as a tele series. The show will cover the life of the saint from being born as Prince Siddharth to his transition to Buddha.
