"La Vie d'Adèle" wins Palme d'Or at Cannes Film Festival

Perhaps coming as no surprise to those who watched it at the festival, Abdellatif Kechiche's "La Vie d'Adèle" is the Palme d'Or winner.

The film, called "Blue is the Warmest Colour" in English, tells the story of a lesbian couple and has been praised by many who have seen it.

Unusually, lead actresses Adele Exarchopoulos and Lea Seydoux, were praised by the jury panel.
