Metropolis has improved over time. It is one of the greatest Sci-Fi films ever. It is hard to think of any science fiction film that has not directly or indirectly been influenced by Metropolis.
Unfortunately, it is full of occult and masonic symbolism. Modern popular culture has taken its symbolism to heart.
