American actress Amanda Bynes - seen here in a blonde wig in court - was arrested in New York City after she allegedly threw a bong out the window of a midtown apartment building.
Police were called to the building after receiving a complaint of someone smoking marijuana in the lobby.
Officers detected a strong smell of marijuana in the 27-year's apartment and observed the bong, which police say she grabbed and threw out the window.
Bynes has had a number of run-ins with the law and pleaded no contest earlier this month in California to driving with a suspended license.
