Video captures tornado ripping through small town in Russia

STORY: A rare tornado ripped through a city in central Russia on Wednesday, leaving fifteen people injured, and a wake of destroyed vehicles, and damaged buildings.

Amateur video filmed on Wednesday in Yefremov, a city in Russia's Tula region some 300 kilometers (200 miles) from Moscow, showed a funnel cloud touching down in a residential area, and kicking up a storm of debris.

Russian media reported that at least fifteen people were injured in the storm, at least 80 buildings and 50 cars were damaged. Dozens of trees also felled, as did 15 electricity poles.

Amateur video showed local residents walking around their neighborhoods dazed, inspecting cars with broken windows, and sidewalks and roads covered with bricks, broken tiles, splintered beams of wood, and crumpled sheets of corrugated metal.
