.. Bringing a touch of Bollywood to the South of France...
.. And, a whole lot more..
When you think of Indian cinema, you don't traditionally think of gun chases....
As a guest country at the Cannes film festival this year, India's heavy hitters, old and new, want to show the world they have more to offer than just song and dance.
(SOT) DIRECTOR, ANURAG KASHWAP SAYING:
"Our main stream cinema which everyone calls bollywood is redefining itself, is becoming more routed, more real, where we have more independent films being made, more edgier films being made, all sorts of cinema co-exist today"
