Iraq: Baghdad and Basra hit by car bomb attacks

At least 20 people were killed by a series of car bombings in Baghdad on Monday, May 20. The eight blasts mainly targeted Shi'ite neighbourhoods of the Iraqi capital.
In the southern city of Basra, two more car bombs left at least 14 people dead. Officials said dozens more had been injured by the blasts, which targeted a bus stop and a restaurant.
