The band Raahi started their first journey in 2005 when Murtaza Zeidi and Tahir Awad met at COMSATS university. RAAHI feel is more goth alternative soft rock. Raahi as the name reflects the band faced the same on every stage. In 2008 the band was ready to hit the chart and was ready to made their first impact by releasing their debut song but unfortunately zeidi's beloved father died so the journey of Raahi took a turn and both members Zeidi and Awad stopped their music journey to fulfil their responsibilities, thus they sacrificed their music and got busy in their own professional lifes. Raahi name was erased completely and the band went into a long deep silence and nobody knows when or where this silence will come to an end.
In these years in a deep silence people thought journey is over for the band but the both members know one day they will come back and start their incomplete journey again and after 5 years of silence Zeidi and Awad who set their goals in their perspective professional careers they finally decided to restart their journey of Raahi and in the mid of 2013 finally Raahi takes their first step towards the glory . And now after a huge break the band released their new song "Kyun Yai Rasty"
Finally the band is coming back where it belongs and in upcoming days so many projects and surprises are in pipeline to hit the chart soon.
