As you can see, I'm out of shape — 9 minutes 45 seconds for the mile — but honestly, the Temu shoes felt fine, way better than I expected going in. Genuinely happy about that.Lungs were burning by the end, feet started hurting a bit, but for a first run, this felt solid. This is actually the first time I've ever owned a pair of dedicated running shoes, so there's a real adjustment period ahead — getting used to running shoes as a category, not just this specific pair, especially coming off ACL surgery last year. A lot of firsts happening in this one run.First runs are rarely pretty, but they set the baseline for everything after.
